Registration is now open for groups starting in August 2026.
Groups are where adults gather, form friendships, engage in conversation, and grow in their faith.
Our groups meet in-person, with locations around East Cobb or Roswell. When you join a group, you discover a place where you can give your faith some friends!
Long-Term Community Groups
Married Groups
Grow in your faith and build meaningful community with couples in your same season of life and area of town. Groups of 6–7 couples meet weekly or three times a month, with options for:
- Just Marrieds
- Marrieds with No Kids
- Marrieds With Kids
- Empty Nesters
Men's Groups
Experience community and grow in your faith with other men in your same season of life and area of town. Groups of 8–12 men meet weekly or three times a month, with options for:
- Dads
- Empty Nesters
- All Men
Women's Groups
Experience community and grow in your faith with other women in your same season of life and area of town. Groups of 8–12 women meet weekly or three times a month, with options for:
- Moms
- Empty Nesters
- All Women
Young Adults
Experience community and grow in your faith with other young adults in your same season of life and area of town. Groups of 8–12 people meet weekly or three times a month, with separate groups for men and women.

Starting Point
Looking for a safe, judgment-free place to explore faith and ask questions? Starting Point is an 8-week conversational group where you can connect with others, discover how faith intersects with real life, and explore at your own pace with caring facilitators.
Thrive
Every marriage faces challenges. What if overcoming them is simpler than you think? Join a Thrive group to find out how much better your marriage can be.
Don't see a group that works for you?
Community Groups are small groups of eight to twelve individuals of the same gender or five to seven married couples who meet in homes or online.
Groups commit to share life and faith together. A great group includes time for both relational connection and studies that challenge members to grow spiritually. A typical group meeting will consist of social time, study, and prayer.
Groups typically meet for one year, about three times per month, for 1.5 to 2 hours. Most groups take breaks during the holidays and summer.
Most groups meet in homes and are formed based on the leader’s location. The majority of groups meet in areas close to the church. Once group registration opens, you can filter by area of town to find a group close to you.
We offer Community Groups for married couples, men, and women. Groups are available for various stages of life, with morning and evening options.
We also offer exploring faith groups.
Group members will need to make arrangements for childcare during group meetings. We provide a financial supplement (at a predetermined rate) for childcare expenses incurred to attend regular group meetings.
Group registration happens online twice a year, in January and August. When it opens, you’ll have the opportunity to register for the group that best fits your schedule.

Childcare Supplement
East Cobb Church supplements group participants at a predetermined rate for their childcare expenses.
