Be a Food Friend
Family Friendly Opportunity
Food Friends provide home-cooked meals and sweet treats. We keep the food warm in crockpots. The size of the meal depends on the event.
Grounds Crew
Family Friendly Opportunity
Table on Delk is looking for volunteers to help with landscaping, gardening, mowing, and general grounds upkeep every Saturday from 8:00–10:00 a.m.
On-site Volunteer
Adults Only
Table on Delk hosts friends five days a week Tuesday–Saturday. Volunteers for these events are their greatest need at The Table. Volunteers (adults only, please) meet at 10:00 a.m. for training and prayer before our friends join from 11:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
Summer schedules can be finicky. If you're looking to share impact with your family, friends, and neighbors but needing flexiblity on time and location, we have the perfect opportunities for you!

Decorate Placemats for Table on Delk
Decorate placemats with drawings, a Bible verse, and/or positive words that will be encouraging and uplifting to the person using it. East Cobb Church will provide the placemats for you (pick up after service at the Summer Serves table beginning 6/7). Return them to the Summer Serve table before/after service any Sunday in June or July.
Decorate Lunch Bags for Table on Delk
Decorate the bags with an encouraging message, stickers, or artwork. East Cobb Church will provide the lunch bags for you (pick up after service at the Summer Serves table beginning 6/7). Return them to the Summer Serve table before/after service any Sunday in June or July.
Decorate Rocks for Rocktober at Table on Delk
The goal of Rocktober on Delk is to scatter over 1,000 painted rocks of encouragement between The Table and the motels we serve every year during the month of October. We are looking for rocks of all sizes decorated with any kind of encouragement – smiley faces, words, and/or pretty designs. Return them to the Summer Serve table before/after service any Sunday in June or July.
Birthday Kits for MUST Ministries
MUST Ministries’ Birthday Kits are packages provided to families facing financial hardship, ensuring children can celebrate their birthdays with joy. Each birthday kit contains the following:
- an aluminum cake pan w/lid
- box of cake mix
- tub of frosting
- Party supplies (like birthday candles, balloons, and a small banner or sign)
- birthday card.
Kits can be assembled/wrapped inside in the cake pan and brought to the Summer Serve table before/after service any Sunday in June or July.
No Sew Fleece Blankets for MUST Ministries
Make no-sew blankets to help MUST clients to stay warm and cozy. Drop off your completed blankets at the Summer Serve table before/after service any Sunday in June or July.
Hygiene Kits for MUST Ministries
Collect and assemble hygiene kits for MUST Ministries clients. Drop off your completed kits to the Summer Serve table before/after service any Sunday in June or July.
Host your own Neighborhood Food Drive for MUST Ministries
Collect food from your friends and neighbors and deliver it to MUST Ministries.
