Around the time I was in middle school, we moved to Georgia from North Carolina. During that time, my walk with Christ started to separate. By the time I graduated high school, I walked without Jesus for many years.
Joanna and Charles Pinkham, who are dear friends of ours, invited my wonderful wife to come and sit with them. Jamey was up at the front, and he said, "We're in the spring, and we're gonna have rising middle schoolers next year. We would like some volunteers to lead small groups."
And I’ll tell you, the Holy Spirit said, "You’ve got to do this." So, I took the plunge. About a month later, I was leading small group boys in Transit as rising sixth graders.
