How to Read the Bible Well
Spring 2024
Reading the Bible well can change the focus of your daily life, soften your heart, improve your relationships, and contribute to a sense of peace and satisfaction. But reading the Bible can also seem overwhelming. Some parts of the Bible are simple and easy to apply while others are complex.
Join us for Foundations: How to Read the Bible Well where we’ll explore a three-step process for reading the Bible well.
When: Wednesday evenings, 7:00–8:30 p.m.
Where: East Cobb Theatrical
2863 Johnson Ferry Road
Marietta, GA 30062
Meeting dates will be February 28, March 6, and March 13.
Childcare will not be provided at our Foundations class. Our church offers Childcare Supplement.
Foundations meets three times a year (fall, spring, and summer) at 7:00 p.m. at East Cobb Theatrical. Classes are three weeks long and topics vary per class.

What is Foundations?
Foundations exists to provide a short-term group experience where adults can learn the essentials of following Jesus as they build and own a faith of their own. Each course lasts three weeks and will be offered in rotation at different times throughout the year.
Foundations classes are designed to give you a place to learn the essentials of following Jesus as you build or own your faith. There are six Foundations classes:
- Understanding Who God Is
- Understanding Your New Identity
- Understanding the Story of the Bible
- How to Read the Bible Well
- How to Establish Spiritual Habits
- How to Live in the Kingdom of God
Each one is designed with you in mind and will include helpful teaching and practical application as we build a foundation for our faith.
