Adult Group Leadership

Experience what God can do when you say yes to leading a group.

Be a part of someone's story in 2025.
Be a part of someone's story.

Curious about group leadership? It’s easier than ever to lead because of this Top 3 list:

  1. You choose the schedule. You get to pick the time and place! Whether it’s twice a month or early mornings, you’ll decide when your group will meet—the day, time, and frequency that fits your schedule.
  2. We make it easy. You don’t need to worry about what to study—we’ve got that covered. You’ll receive a clear, simple plan to follow. Check out our Fall Group Plan to see how easy we make it for you to lead.
  3. You’ll impact lives. As much as Sundays matter, circles are where life change happens best. Leading a group gives you a front-row seat to watch God work in the lives of others—and in your own life too.

Consider taking a step to see how God can use you to create a place for people to become more known.

East Cobb Church has been growing this fall and we want to create space for new people in the new year! We need to Community Group leaders now for eight married couples groups, four women’s groups, two mom groups, two men’s groups and one dad group. Would you consider taking a step?

Group leaders are...

Group leaders are promoters graphic

Great leaders promote participation by sharing group responsibilities.

They are not responsible for every group task.

Group leaders are real, graphic

Great leaders are transparent about their struggles and how God is working in their lives.

They don’t need to have a mistake-free life.

Group leaders are guides, graphic

Great leaders guide those they lead and support them as they grow.

They don’t need a theology degree to be used by God to lead others.

Group leaders are supported, graphic

Every leader has an expert coach to guide them and provide a plan for their group.

They won’t have to figure out by themselves how to lead or what to study.
