Resources and Support

We believe there is hope for a better world.

WHAT IF, IN YOUR NEXT CONVERSATION ABOUT RACE, YOU PLACED A HIGHER PRICE ON THE LIVES INVOLVED THAN THE POSITION YOU HOLD?

Understanding Diversity

Our current strategy to fight racism has four parts:

  1. Educate Yourselves Read books and listen to stories to broaden and deepen your understanding of racism—both individual and systemic.

  2. Speak Up Sign petitions, send emails, make phone calls to civic leaders as needed, and seek justice for policy change. Spread awareness and post and show support.

  3. Lean in Locally Get involved in Cobb County to do what you can to promote racial reconciliation and equality. Here are three current goals we are actively pursuing:

    • Contact the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office to ask what they're doing to prevent future tragedies and offer our support in any way possible.

    • Establish an ongoing relationship with at least one local black church in the name of unity, learning from each other, and moving together.

    • Identify urgent issues facing Black and Latino communities in Cobb County and make sure they are addressed during Be Rich and supported by the Love Where You Live fund.

  4. Prioritize Diversity—of all kinds—at the staff, stage, and volunteer level!
